Superior District 3B Senior Summer Games begin!

MANITOUWADGE, ON – 05.21.10 The Superior District 3B Senior Summer Games kicked off in Marathon yesterday.
Etimated swimming competitions at the Porothole Pool were cancelled due to insuficient numbers, however bowling did go ahead as planned.
Superior District 3B Senior Summer Games Bowling Results (individual placement not yet available):

1st Place – Terrace Bay Team

2nd Place – Marathon Team

3rd Place – Manitouwadge Team
Neither Schreiber nor White River competed in bowling though they will be competiting in other events during the games.
The action continues Tuesday, May 25th in Manitouwadge with Euchre & Bid Euchre at the Golden Age Club, be there to cheer on our area seniors; see the schedule below (also available through a link on the home page) for details of all the events.Athletes from Marathon, Manitouwadge, Schreiber and White River as the competition continues in Manitouwadge until June 4th.
Athletes competing in the Superior District 3B Senior Summer Games do so to earn a position in the provincial senior summer games, Actifest 2010, to be held in Oshawa, Ontario August 10th-12th.
