Aggravated Assault Charges Filed Against a Youth
MANITOUWADGE,ON – On the April 29th, 2010 the Manitouwadge/Marathon OPP responded to a call regarding an assault with a weapon in Manitouwadge.
A group of youths were involved in an altercation when one produced an edged weapon. Two youths were injured in the altercation. One received superficial wounds to the hand, was treated and released. The other received a major laceration on the right hand and will require further surgery.
One male youth has been charged with Aggravated Assault, Assault with a Weapon and Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose.
Due to the age of thee involved parties no names are being released.
