Community Clean up – This week at MPS
MANITOUWADGE PUBLIC SCHOOL
Seen here are only two of the community minded young people we have in our little town. On the hottest day we have had this year all the students at Manitouwadge Public School ventured outside to rid our streets, ditches and roadways of thoughtlessly discarded garbage. Every student was given a garbage bag, rubber gloves and they all seemed to have enjoyed the little outing – maybe because it got them away from those ‘dreaded books’!!
Afterwards the Township treated them to juice, chips and a hot dog BBQ for lunch. Another job well done by our students and certainly appreciated by everyone who walks our now clean streets of Manitouwadge.
