One Blood @ Harmony Club
Big performance tonight in White River
by Karina Hunter
A very special pot luck dinner is planned tonight at the Harmony Club in White River as One Blood, a five member Christian a cappella group consisting of brothers, Joshua, John, Peter, and Elijah Ernst and their father, Gregg Ernst, will perform at the feast.
Father Gregg has not always performed as a vocalist at one time he was a world-record holding strength athlete. Their repertoire comes from a wide variety of traditions, with a typical concert including motets, hymns, spirituals, and gospel songs in four and five part harmony. Genetic similarity is said to give a rich blend rarely found with unrelated voices.

They describe their Ministry as follows: The heart of the music is what is important. In our music we attempt to give Christians a renewed sense of God’s love, beauty, and grace, and non-Christians a view of God’s reality, holiness, and truth. Although we like to have a bit of fun, our main purpose is not to entertain, but to bless the believer and call the unbeliever.
Don’t miss out on this spectacular show and a one of a kind Pot Luck dinner at the Harmony Club in White River tonight! Admission is $5, bring one of your family’s favourite dishes and join in the feast as well!
formed in 2009 to be the touring subgroup of the larger ensemble, The Ernst Family, which also includes Gregg’s wife, Jennie, and three more of the family’s ten children. The Ernst Family has been performing since 2001, appearing on national radio and television, releasing three CDs, and touring the Maritimes, Ontario, and the northeastern US. Performing and touring as OneBlood, however, has allowed us to expand and develop our music and ministry even further, without overtaxing Jennie, who finds parenting the younger children, homeschooling, AND a full touring schedule a little beyond her strength.
