Teams participating in the event also met with Matheson, there are four registered teams to date including members from Manitouwadge and Nipigon, survivors and first time participants; it is hoped that last years teams from Marathon and Pic River will soon confirm attendance for the 2010 walk. Theme for those participating is once again ‘Storefronts’, this allowing them many options in regards to fundraising including, selling baked goods, services or crafts the options are endless. Teams have been challenged to work towards the title of “Most funds raised”. we have now four confirmed teams.
The 2010 Northshore Relay for Life is gearing up to be an incredible community event once again.
