MANITOUWADGE PUBLIC SCHOOL
Recently our front entrance and storage room have been loaded with treasures from all over town. For some time now our school has been the drop-off site for Manitouwadgeians to leave their ‘unwanted’ clothing and miscellaneous items. These items are picked up twice a year to become somebody’s ‘wanted’ items and are re-sold by a vendor in Thunder Bay with proceeds going back to the Diabetes Association. Our students from grade 7 and 8 are seen here donating their brawn once again and loading a total of 218 large bags and 14 boxes onto the delivery truck.
The public is reminded that we accept and store items all year round at the school- not just around pickup times. Thank you so much to everyone who donated once again to this worthy cause – the Diabetes Association.
