Deli opening soon in Manitouwadge

by Karina Hunter

In spite of the struggling economy, Manitouwadge continues to welcome the migration of Canadians from all corners of the country; re-locating to find a slower pace, cleaner lifestyle, or a safer environment in which to raise their children there are a myriad of reasons for
which they come and similarly, the skills, talents and specialties they possess
are also quite varied.  Just 9
months ago, Mary Bellmore and her husband moved to Manitouwadge from Canada’s southernmost city, Windsor, Ontario
(population 21,000+).  Bellemore has many years experience at a number of dining establishments
from A&W management to Legion Hall cooking and operations she has worked at
every end of the food service spectrum and, felt there was a need in
Manitouwadge for an eatery offering heart-healthy options and decided to open
Full Belly Deli.

Don’t
expect to visit Full Belly Deli for lunch meat by the pound, it will be a true
delicatessen offering fresh sandwiches, salads and 2 homemade soup of the day
options for hungry patrons wanting healthy, quick and delicious meal choices.  Finally, we have a ‘fast-food’
option in Manitouwadge!

Opening
Monday, March 8th Mary says Manitouwadge residents can look forward
to her official Grand Opening this summer when she will, having had an
opportunity to get to know her customers, be offering customer appreciation
days and other warm-weather specials.
Congratulations to Mary Bellemore,
Manitouwadge’s newest entrepreneur, we wish her good luck in her new
venture and look forward to filling our bellies at Full Belly Deli!
