by Karina Hunter
Sunday, January 24th, 2010 Nite on the Town Entertainment of the Arts organizer, Natalie Labbee, welcomed a full house to the Manitouwadge High School Theatre before presenting He Sang, She Sang a musical created by actor Adam Brazier.
Actors Daniel Abrahamson and Rachel Brittain, took attendees on a journey through the ups and downs of modern relationships from meeting to marriagee, dating to divorce, and everything in between while performing parodies of over 50 hit songs from Broadways best loved shows including Annie, West Side Story, Little Shop of Horrors, Crazy for You, and The Full Monty. The audience roared with laughter throughout the two hour performance, breaking in to enthusiastic applause after nearly every song.
NOTES organizers were very enthusiastic with the incredible turnout, the best of the season with many Northshore residents having made the drive to Manitouwadge to enjoy the performance. There remains only one show in the 2009-10 NOTES series, jazz, folk and blues artist David Myles is scheduled to perform Monday, March 8th.
