Louis had a special love for his many nieces and nephews. Special Uncle to Shelley, Nickie, Eddy, Michella, Brent, Kylee and Tavish.
Louis was born and raised in New Waterford, Nova Scotia where he spent many good years making many fond memories with his parents and 14 siblings. From there he moved to Manitouwadge where he would spend the next 37 years raising his family. In Manitouwadge Louis was employed at Geco Mines and was the Local D.J. for many years.
Louis loved his sports, music, walking and people. Louis always had a song to sing!
He will be sincerely missed by the community as a whole having made many friends during his life in Manitouwadge.
Louis passed away at home, peacefully surrounded by his family, his friends and his music and though he has now gone to a better place he will never be forgotten. His last message to those he loved was “Gotta be cheerful!” may they remember this in the difficult days ahead as they grieve the loss of this very special man.
Rest in Peace Louis, Manitouwadge will miss you!
