honour of the season.  Mrs. Guloien’s Grade 10 Drama class had written a play that they performed titled “Top 5 Christmas Stories of All Time”. The play featured television news anchors exposing [imaginary] seasonal disasters which had caught the headlines over the years including Rudolph Charged with Drinking & Flying, Elections for a new Santa, Santa unable to deliver due to H1N1 and others.  The incredible dramatic performance was followed up with two musical performances conducted by music teacher Pat Lalonde. The first, MHS Junior Band also featured non other than Principal Brian Johnson on tuba and was quite incredible considering the large majority of students involved had never read music or touched an instrument just 3 short months ago when school began in September. MHS Senior Band wrapped up the evening with more great, holiday favourites which many in the crowd could not resist signing along to.
