Well into the school year I continue to be challenged with finding a balance between homeschool and working. As a single parent the choice to also be a stay at home parent is tricky enough, add homeschooling and an eager to learn 4 year old to that and, well, if you have any solutions – I’d love to hear them lol.
I haven’t posted any of our activities lately, as I have been swamped with work and I’d rather be doing activities than posting them if I have to choose between the two. Anyhow, I have a few minutes now so here is some of Monday’s fun…

Reading and using the measurements on spoons or measuring cups is great for literacy and math!
Emeraude loves using baking & cooking utensils like this whisk, great for fine motor skills & hand-eye coordination also.

Careful… It is important to teach little ones safety precautions and good food handling practices in the kitchen.
