I love bubbles. There is something about playing with bubbles, whether they’re chasing them or blowing them, that brings a child such joy. It is so simple, peaceful, and joyful. Watch a child chasing bubbles in the wind and you can’t help but smile. 

On this day last week, Emeraude was about to go swimming with her Dad. I had hoped to get out for a photo shoot with a family whose Mom has accepted my request that they be models for some sibling/family portraits but unfortunately I couldn’t reach her; I decided it might still be worthwhile to get Emeraude to play around with the bubbles for a few minutes that I may have an opportunity to frame some shots and get an idea in advance of what I would hope to capture on the day of our shoot.
