Manitouwadge Museum held Hillbilly Day Saturday as a fundraiser for the ongoing additions and improvements to the museum.
Marlene looking too cute in her hillbilly garb.
Residents of all ages came out, dressed in their best hillbilly gear for old time games such as hillbilly golf (ladder golf) and hillbilly horseshoes (washer toss), barbecued concessions and other attractions such as Cui the clown and local band André’s Rock Café. Watch for other museum fundraising events coming in August.
Best dressed hillbilly couple, Ruth, a.k.a. Daisy May, and Bob Glabb.
Local group, Andre’s Rock Café, played some classic country as hillbillies danced along.
Irma Passi takes her shot competing against friend & organizer Gail Isaacs.
Diane takes her shot. Check out the outfit the young lady next to her is wearing, most original hillbilly for sure, those are boxers she turned into a shirt! Too neat!
