Easy-Peasy, Super-Breezy summer craft!
Found this one in the current issue of Chirp Magazine and had been wanting to try it while camping but the opportunity did not present itself until a few nights ago when we had some time before bed. It is a kite AND it is quite foolproof and flies pretty well and very easily.
It was so quick and easy, could easily be done with things you have on hand at home.
What you’ll need:
-
rectangle paper
-
crepe paper or ribbon for tail
-
tape
-
craft or popsicle stick
-
scissors
-
string
Fold the paper in 1/2 lengthwise; fold corners to make tail, tape stick across front where point is, tape crepe tail to back & string to front… TahDah! You’ve made a kite.
