Camping Fun
White Lake, Ontario
Lloyd & Brady were great sports, really getting into the exploration when Emeraude asked them for help catching tadpoles, leaches and other aquatic friends. Between the three of them, they found 4 leachs, a few dozen tadpoles, what we believed to be the larvae of a dragonfly and some other interesting bugs we couldn’t identify. It was so nice to see how patient and gentle both boys were with her; accepting her requests & instructions, explaining to her what they knew of the bugs they found and hypothesizing about the diets and habits of those they did not have knowledge of. It went on for almost 2 hours, it was well past supper by the time I finally got them out of the water, they were all having so much fun they just were in no hurry to leave.
