Amphibian & Human friends…

Emeraude loves nature, but so do most young children. This night, her friend Xander was going to try out his new kite and so we met at the Lion’s beach bringing along our kites as well. The wind wasn’t quite right and so we ditched the kites for tadpoles. It was a ton of fun. I was in the water in my rubber boots as well, needing a photo for this (http://www.karinahunter.com/?p=4138) article I wrote the day prior.

The kids took off their shoes (well Emeraude started with boots but it wasn’t long before she was in too deep and they were just holding water lol) and walked back & forth all over the beach. There were no where near the amount of tadpoles that Emeraude & I had seen a few days prior but it was still alot of fun!
