Re-arranging Emeraude’s room
Emeraude’s beautiful princess bed broke this week. I’m not sure if it was brother leaning in to give her a kiss and the bed couldn’t handle his weight or the dog (I don’t think it could’ve been the latter as she doesn’t weigh that much more than Emeraude). In any case, on Sunday while Emeraude was @ Grandmaman’s we wanted to figure something out. We had planned to tighten her teepee on this day anyways. So, we took out the bed, tidy’d the room and turned some things around. I’m happy with what we figured out as the room seems much bigger now and has more floor space for her to play and take care of her babies.
So, for now, she has her mattress on the floor and I think I will keep it like that for the summer as with her teepee it creates a fun, camping sort of atmosphere and she is happy with it. In the fall I guess we may have to bring in her single bed, I’ll see if Uncle might be able to fix the princess bed but I have a feeling it will not be do-able as it is the plastic that has cracked. I also have yet to recieve a quote from Tim Roberts for the built ins I designed for her back wall which is frustrating as without that storage space it is impossible to put away all her clothes or organize our craft supplies and has all her stuff spilling out constantly into the living room and kitchen.
