Tragic Loss
In loving memory of Steven Philippe, 16 years of age.
Steven passed away suddenly in Hanmer on Sunday June 21, 2009. Beloved son of Daniel and Jocelyne (née Larocque) Philippe of Hanmer. Loving brother of Danny (Angie McFarling) and Melissa both of Hanmer. Cherished uncle of Etan. Dear gradson of Gerard and Jacqueline Philippe both predeceased and Alphonse and Marie Rose Larocque of Ste.Cécile de Masham, Québec. Dear nephew of Jocelyne Mafatau, Joanne Brazeau, Chantal Caron, Alain Philippe, Gaetan Philippe, Rachelle Martineau, Sylvie Dagenais, Denis Larocque and Gaetan “Bill” Larocque. Sadly missed by many cousins, rerlatives and friends. Steve loved to golf and play hockey. In Valley Eat he played with the Desjardins and Brankor Teams.

We will miss Steven so much. A wonderful, polite boy, I often teased Lloyd that I like him hanging around with Steven because he was a good role model as he was such a hard worker, Steven always found any job available (like piling fire wood or mowing lawns) because he enjoyed working and people new they could count on him to to a job well and until it was done.
Lloyd has many fond memories of Steven who moved away with his family when school ended in 2007.
Emeraude is upset that she does not remember Steven as she was quite young when last she saw him. So we’ve shown her photos of herself at the table with Steven, brothe and friends enoying breakfast after a sleepover.
