Absolutely wondeful!
Emeraude had such a great time (as did I watching her). The firefighter, Marilyn is a wonderful woman, proud of her volunteerism and the fire station she call ‘home base’. Having volunteered as a Manitouwadge Firefighter for nearly a decade she has extensive knowledge of all the equipment, protocols, and precautions (firefighting in Manitouwadge is done by highly skilled, trained volunteers + she works full time at one of the mines at the corner of hwy’s 614 + 17)
We learned that there are many loud noises at the Fire Station & they aren't just horns
Emeraude couldn’t get enough (I can’t blame her, Marilyn has a real talent as a fire prevention advocate and as a tour guide and had me enthralled as well); her eyes opened wide she was replying “uh-huh, uh-huh” after every word Marilyn said like it was all being filled in the appropriate place in that big brain of hers. So neat to watch! I hope my photos will have captured the enthusiasm and wonder with which she followed and listened to Marilyn.
