After a difficult, painful night with not alot of sleep I went to the hospital early this a.m. (6h15) but didn’t make it back home (no stops in between, just one of those visits) until 7h and Emeraude woke up just minutes afterwards. It was Saturday morning however so I left myself off the hook guiltfree, inviting her to have breakfast in bed with me (I had just been finishing as she woke up) and watch a few little shows. We played around for about an hour and a half and then she needed to go to the bathroom, Lloyd came to help her off the bed and said he would help her so I thought I’d close my eyes “just for a minute” until she returned…
I guess I fell hard asleep again and the big guy decided to leave me to it and feed his sister breakfast. It wasn’t until 10h that I woke up to the two of them, dressed and heading outside to work on the skateboarding ramp Lloyd’s been constructing. It was raining fairly hard out but that doesn’t usually deter my children and Emeraude had been well dressed by her brother.
