This morning, because Emraude would be having her cake with family later, I helped her open a card she received from Gandma Teena (Daniel’s Mother) a few days prior. She was so excited about the card which had a ”pendant’ that you could punch out from it with a ‘jewel’, we did punch it out and Emeraude strung it onto yellow yarn. She wore it proudly all day and the following as well “My birthday necklace”. There was also a check to Daniel with “for Emeraude” in the memo so I’m hoping it will make it into her account (the last check one of his relatives was kind enough to send sat in his kitchen for more than a year).
Lloyd is leaving on his fishing trip tomorrow so we also wanted to get started on some snacks for the trip. Emeraude & I made Mallow Slices from her Rice Krispie cook book. They turned out GREAT and I’m certain they will not last long lol.
