Strike a pose…
Emeraude is so funny some times when it comes to photographs. Some days she is not at all interested in smiling for the camera, but then there are times like this morning (probably once every couple days) where she just has a blast posing for me, making silly faces and pretty faces and trying different poses, telling me “one minute, ok, take one now, ok wait, I have to stand different… all right, now you can take another one, oh- how about like this?” and then she runs over to ‘review’ the photo on the camera’s lcd and get ideas for her next pose. It really is alot of fun. Today however, she let me take a few and then decided that I needed to pose with her so I put the camera down and let her direct me as she ‘taught me how to do it right’ (lol, posing lessons hee hee hee)
I remember Lloyd used to enjoy posing once in a while but of course back then I didn’t have a digital camera and certainly nothing as high quality as my DSLR so he had to wait for them to be printed but some times we would just take a film of 12 and go print them right away lol.
It was so much fun. I only got a few, and they didn’t do justice to the moment but here are a couple of them. I’m not sure if you’ll get a bit of the mood that she was sharing with me as I find they actually caught more of the fatigue she must be feeling today from a busy week and a big cold but thought I’d share them anyways… Thank you Lord for my many blessings, for my healthy, wonderful, children so full of love, imagination, kindness, dreams, potential. Happy Easter everyone, will try and catch up on my posts tomorrow evening (that would be yesterday | today | tomorrow).
