Solumedrol, Day four…video post
Figured I’d be in no shape (and wanting to get to sleep at a decent time tonight) to be typing much when I got home from MGH (hospital) so took advantage of being out for a nasty cigarette break where things were quiet to take a little video en lieu of my regular post. If this works out I may borrow Mom’s camera more often, I haven’t been able to find the USB for my camcorder and so have tons of video stuck in there (including the MFSC videos Lloyd took although if any parents are interested in that and reading this the DVD’s do work I just haven’t edited anything so the videos are exactly how he took them, there are 3 each of the ice shows and the dress rehearsal) just unable to use any family video I have on my DVD’s from the camcorder in here without the USB… Will keep searching and hopefully figure it out very soon.
Am also looking in to changing the theme of my blog. Something more professional that could possibly match a site for Hunter Photography as I want to soon use all the great photos Shelley allowed me to take for promotional purposes as well as get her 2nd photo shoot done with photos of herself, her husband and the kids. Now that Spring is coming in I have ton of ideas for our 2nd and final shoot and then would like to put a really nice package together for her to thank her for her efforts AND patience.
On a different note, I was advised today that my readership included a group I was not previously aware of. Apparently there are some among the staff @ MGH (our local hospital) who are fond (or perhaps that’s not quite the right word lol) let’s say who have noticed my blog. Apparently some are quite turned off by it. If you are reading and are of that opinion, well, I guess my only advice would be not to read. I mean, you could always type an address into the browser of a blog you enjoy right? This is just an account of my life, the challenges & struggles of living with Multiple Sclerosis which obviously are lived in large part at the hospital… I do not intend to hurt anyone with any of the accounts of my experiences and I do always try to be very aware of the public nature of my blog, however, this is my life. My blog also talks about the challenges of being the single parent of two beautiful healthy children, Lloyd 14 and Emerude 3 whom I home school and hope to continue homeschooling for as long as my health permits (hopefully until she is ready for High School which I would prefer she attend at MHS)…anyhow, more on that maybe later, maybe not. The best way to avoid being offended or annoyed by this blog if you do not enjoy it is to simply not visit. When you visit you become a statistic which helps me generate revenue for my site as the more visitors I have, the more advertisers/sponsors will be willing to pay to be featured on the site.
FLIP SIDE – if you DO enjoy my blog, please click on the ads on the pages, I make every effort to ensure they are relevant to which ever page you may be reading and they generate revenue for the site to allow me to continue sharing our journey with you. CLICK, CLICK, CLICK please 🙂
