Shopping for Pumps & Soccer photos

Women’s shoes: High-heel Pumps | Piperlime

shopping… Sigh, I don’t think I’ll be checking my cart out tonight. Check that, I definetely will not be tonight but am trying to get a decision made. The kids need new swimwear and I have found what I wanted for them at old navy.com (wish oldnavy.ca was an option but for some reason the canadian site doesn’t offer checkout?? anyone know why this is the case?). There aren’t alot of choices for Lloyd especially since he has been in men’s sizing for a couple years now. Would’ve liked to find him a nice rashguard shirt but they don’t have them for men (biggest is a boys 18 tall, the size he grew out of 2 summers ago – sheesh). Did find Emeraude nice seperates. I have bought her swimwear in peices the past two summers and have preferred this. She spends alot of time swimming in the summer, especially while we are at White Lake and this helps always have something dry available. Also, swimming lessons are in the morning here and it’s not often very warm then or in the evenings so a rash guard makes sure she can still be comfy (hard to have fun & relax in the water with blue lips chattering lol).

I am not feeling very well and so stalling hoping to get some real work done soon. It’s distracting when my arms and legs hurt and makes it difficult to do work where I am needing focus. I think I’ll get the pricing & paper work done for the Youth Soccer photos tonight. Pricing is easy, in past years I offered just 2 sizes, 4×6 or 5×7 and I will be sticking with this. I think the parents want a momento but do not need something overly pricey or extravagant. The children are so beautiful, outside photos really just capturing there love for the sport or enjoyment of being on a team that there isn’t any reason to bring in back drops that would just raise cost/price.

I have been turning the idea of “sports cards” around in my head… I think these could be nice for the parents to get for friends/family (great size for extended relatives, being like a business card of large ‘wallet size’ pic) and could be a lot of fun for the kids to trade and collect amongst themselves. I just need to figure out pricing to decide if they could be reasonable enough to interest people.

Also, the age groups will be photographed together, are going to be available for the leisure services department to purchase of each team and I’m hoping they will do so to frame for the rec (so neat for future years to have these sorts of things on display).

Any opinions regarding ‘sports cards’ are very welcome… What is reasonable for $ on such an item (I can’t base my price on that but it will help me decide whether there is a point to offering it). Would you as a parent want such something like that?

hope you have enjoyed your weekend. Thanks for reading!

…will be posting pics of Emeraude’s ‘boat launch’ soon. It was AWESOME! She & her father colaborated on a very nifty pontoon type boat + she made one all on her own that was awesome and that I was so proud she thought of on her own!
