My Skating Star!
Emeraude had so much fun this weekend, it was great to see her shine and come out of her shell quite a bit as well.
She received a ton of balloons, flowers and beanies from friends and family who came out to watch (Thanks everyone!) which made her feel really special. Lloyd had volunteered to video tape the performance and went above and beyond video taping BOTH performances AND the dress rehearsal (sweet) in spite of not feeling well (he’s been sick for weeks, had strep which aggravated his lungs and brought back asthma that has not bothered him in years)
Her father even helped on Sunday (although he tried to backout, I just put my foot down and insisted he follow through on the promise he had made her just the day prior) so I was able to watch the show from the audience. I even won the door prize – dinner for 2 at the Jade Restaurant (YUMMY!) which was icing on the cake for sure. Speaking of cakes, I’ll have to post photos of our after party (Emeraude, Lloyd & I) later, it was great.
