Lucky Ducky
Emeraude has felted quite blessed this week and I have been teasing her that she is a ‘lucky ducky’ as Monday we received a call that she had won Field’s colouring contest which was a beautiful basket full of really neat goodies including:
- chocolate
- markers
- stuffed duck she & Grandmaman named ‘Canard’
- bubbles
- Bubblicious bubble gum (I only buy sugarless so that was really exciting for her)
- Kindersurprise (another one that I don’t usually buy and extra neat for her)
- a giant crayola post-it colouring pad
Needless to say she was pretty thrilled… I had called Grandmaman who was on her way to give me a ride to the hospital so Emeraude & Lloyd joined us and after dropping me off, they drove to Field’s and bringing Emeraude to claim her prize – CONGRATULATIONS SWEETHEART!
Yesterday, after we had been at the ‘Early Intervention Program’ for preschoolers (I sort of school readiness identification thingy, many different organizations colaborate together, they have stations set up around the rec centre auditorium and screen the kids to identify any potential areas they may need extra help with, Emeraude was awesome and there are no worries) we were out an about, at one point I went to the backdoor to let Silver in and what did I find hanging on the back door but yet another prize! Emeraude had put her name into the door prize and won a new bike helmet & knee/elbow pads (great to have a double set so one can be just for the camper). She was thrilled, CONGRATULATIONS AGAIN EMERAUDE! She certainly deserves all the nice things in life and I’m happy for her that God has blessed her with these nice little extras!
