March Break

march-6Well, Emeraude & I went sliding again today. It was AWESOME! So warm out we had a ton of fun (+ 1 crash which I survived suprisingly well lol).

Lloyd is still sick, this morning it almost seemed like he was still getting worse which was really worrysome. I’m still not feeling very confident about the shape he is in. Its so hard to get any kind of accurate picture of how he’s doing as he is incredibly tough and usually so healthy. He stayed home all day, had a friend over for some video games and then went out for a short walk this evening but didn’t even mention his sled and seemed to take my wanting him here resting tonight very well which just adds to my worries.

Tomorrow would’ve been Emeraude’s Doodlebops concert… She drew a

map to the concert this morning (I had tried to explain to her as best I could earlier this week that it wasn’t going to work out). Just typing that now, I’m in tears again. She expects so few things and would have enjoyed it SO much, it is really hard to accept that she was led to believe by someone that it was a certainty and the same someone not only did nothing to follow through but caused a great deal of stress in our (Lloyd,Emeraude, myself) lives in the process… I know a few of my friends read this blog, if you could lend an ear to hear about this I could use an ear to get it off my chest as I am still very upset about it, please, send me an email and let me know that I can share (details already in an email, just waiting to here from whomever God is sending me to listen 😐 )

ANYWAYS…

Emeraude’s vegetable sprouts are growing ALREADY!!! WOW! She was so excited! Grandpapa  had treated us to hot chocolate after we finished sliding this afternoon (he had been watching from inside Friends’ and waiting for us to be done) and she told him she hoped to show him soon, never one to let her wait or be dissapointed he made his way (this is more difficult that you would imagine as the 30 -40 feet from his van to my door are glare ice and very hilly/bumpy) in after he gave me a ride from the hospital this evening and he saw her waving from the living room window. It was a short visit, just long enough to let her explain her gardens and show him the sprouts, check on Lloyd and give her a kiss but she couldn’ t have been happier and felt more special about it (thanks Dad – you’re awesome) will post pics of her new sprouts tomorrow as well (have taken them already as she inspected them but it is late and I need to be up at 5:30 for my hospital visit as Emeraude has Nursery School in the morning).

march-3

At Emeraude’s bedtime, she decided in honour of March Break to eat one of the banana-whip cream-strawberry/banana jello – deserts that Emeraude & I had made earlier in the day. She loved it and it was just another thing that differentiated this week from our regular routine 🙂 march-2

I am praying for direction from the Lord. I pray also because I am so grateful for all the many, many blessings I have including the beautiful sunshine Emeraude & I enjoyed today (will post pics soon) and this beautiful sunset (photos below) that Lloyd captured us enjoying.

Goodnight, God Bless. Special prayers for the Levesque family xo.
