Living
Well, my treatment was definitely successful…I’ve been scared too say that, scared to jinx it, scared that I might be wrong and have it fade after just a day or two but it would seem that I am free – for now.
Last night I even went in for a shot of Dilaudid, partly worried that if I did not the standing order might be cancelled just to have me need it again this weekend but it seems I’m ok and it’s all good. So, now to put the peices back together again. The clinic has beeen less than helpful as I of course needed a taper of oral steroids (dangerous to skip – very much so) that they did not bother to call in, even when the pharmacy was nice enough to call them this morning (knowing that I had been trying for 2 days now to get the prescription) the clinic then just told them that there were no prescriptions – WHAT? Anyhow, they did finally send it this afternoon although the doctor only then gave an order for 1/2 of the other oral meds I should have (which we have already spoken about… frustrating) so I am missing time released morphine, an opioid so if there is a problem I should have received a phone call from the dr.; and meloxicam, and anti-inflamatory that should be
replacing the toredol injections to st me free from the constant back & forth to the hospital but it was also left out… I of course am so beyond relieved to be away from the hospital that I can’t be bothered to chase these things now. Hopefully the dr. won’t leave on vacation before I decide to go chasing my meds (I alrady wasted 3 days on this that I should not have had to and am done and wanting to just be with my kids for now).
This morning the kids were both at school, friday morning Nursery School for Emeraude and she had a wonderful time. We went by the Family Place for drop-in at aout 14:25 and caught the end of it, afterwards we went downtown and ran some errands, then came home and I let beautiful girl go lay down with a book as she was clearly at the end of her day without some rest.
bite and then was gone again. Emeraude had supper and then we got ready to go watch him play volleyball – alot of fun. Lloyd is out now, having some fun with friends and Emeraude is in bed – I’ll be sleeping very soon too 🙂
Will posts Lloyd’s volleyball pics in another post. These photos of Emeraude ar from a ‘concert’ she gave me before bath time. It was AWESOME! She was singing her medoly of prayers and books from earlier in the day – always great. “OH THE LORD IS GOOD TO ME – THE LORD GIVES ME SPRING – THANK YOU LORD!” priceless and peaceful somehow in spite of the drumming!
I was treated to “ducky’s 1st spring” afterwards, a version of the book we heard at circle time at the family place this afternoon, read as she turned the pages of a spiderman colouring book – AWESOME!
Unfortunately, my food issues have yet to get the worst of me I think. I have logged on to Fytness Fanatik Community (facebooky type of place) and hope to get to reading the mag & site plenty this week but somehow tonight I just felt like I needed to enjoy eating for a while (it’s been months after all!). So, strawberries, chocolate, chips, add to more food earlier = sore tummy & happy me lol. Tomorrow I will begin paying attention to that. Promise!
Enjoy.
