Attention Batchewana First Nation, please be advised that there is an IMMEDIATE boil-water advisory being issued due to the possible contamination of well water that may have occurred due to the severe rain floods.
The Centres for Disease Control and Prevention recommend that water be brought to a rolling boil for one minute before it is consumed.
THIS ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
