MANITOUWADGE, ON – The students at Manitouwadge Public School have been very busy over the past two weeks. Our Student Council, under the direction of Mrs. Aguiar, came up with many activities to promote the spirit of the season.
They decorated the front of the school with frozen balloon balls, decorated our Christmas tree in the front foyer of the school, and participated in a food drive for our local food bank. The Student Council delivered the items donated with the Superintendent of Education, Mrs. Petrick. They have also been involved in a project to buy a goat for World Vision. So far, they have raised enough to buy two goats and maybe some chickens!
Way to go kids! You have shown the meaning of Christmas with your generous giving.
