TERRACE BAY, ON – The Township of Terrace is working hard to have you attend this years tradeshow; going above and beyond to attract this year’s exhibitors and shoppers. This year’s Tradeshow will be held on May 14, 2011 at the Terrace Bay Arena and organizers have their sights set on a goal of 1,000 visitors and 100 exhibitor tables! Why will the 2011 Green Tradeshow be even better than the 2010 Green Tradeshow?
Organizers recognize that the regional economy is in a much better position than the past two tradeshows. Terrace Bay’s main employer, Terrace Bay Pulp, has been up and running since October and residents are back at work, having them in a comfortable position to buy exhibitor products and services at the 2011 Tradeshow; neighbouring communities are also feeling the effects of the mill’s re-opening and their residents are travelling the Northshore once again.
The Township of Terrace Bay has employed a staff person, Allison Dennis, with funding from EcoSuperior Environmental Programs, dedicated to making this year’s event bigger and better than ever.
